Peer Recovery Support Team

Our Peer Recovery Support Service Team provides strength-based, self-determined support for individuals at various stages of recovery, with a focus on increasing recovery capital and long-term stability.

Not Just Naloxone Training

Sponsored by First Nations Health Authority

This Indigenous-lens training includes:

Anti-stigma education, Education on harms associated with prohibition, Resilience-informed care principles and Life-saving Naloxone certification.

Giving Voices Presentations, Workshops & Talking Circles

These initiatives are sponsored by the Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation and are delivered through an Indigenous women’s lens.

Loud Voice Society staff and peer leaders facilitate these gender based anti violence educational workshops, providing education on the harms associated with violence, the pathways into and out of violence, and community healing and system navigation at various organizations in Kamloops.
